All About Me
My first family vacation was to Walt Disney World when I was 7, and I've been hooked on both Disney and travel ever since! That trip took place in the 80s, so we made the 9-hour drive with me unseat-belted in the back of a Ford Ranger pickup truck. My grandparents thought I'd be more comfortable tucked between the suitcases on an egg crate foam mattress and sleeping bag than squeezed between them in the front seat. Whew, how times have changed! That trip left a lasting impression. I remember my dad acting like a big kid, my mom holding onto my ponytail for dear life while riding Space Mountain, watching fireworks from our room at the Contemporary, and, of course, my little fort in the back of that pickup. I also remember my grandma wishing she'd booked through a travel agent since "this place is just HUGE!" I had no idea what a travel agent was back then, but it sure sounded like a fun job.
Fast forward over 30 years, and I’ve had the chance to travel all over the U.S. (safely seat-belted in a car or plane, I promise!), visit international all-inclusive resorts, and visit Disney parks so many times that I’ve lost count. My kids have grown up in theme parks, on beaches, and in national campgrounds. I hope these trips have shaped them, even if they’ve always worn their seatbelt!
After the pandemic shutdowns, I did some soul-searching to figure out how I could help others find joy with their families and make the most of their time together. With over 20 years in public safety, I realized I could use my unique perspective to help people plan trips of a lifetime and leave their everyday worries behind. I've been a travel agent for over 4 years now, and have been blessed through opportunity combined with hard work to be a top-selling travel agent for both Disney and Universal Themeparks with Castle Explorers.
